Heavy spring action folds the luggage shelf up when not in use. Weight limit is 10kg = 22 pounds. These are from an original accessory company. Expensive, but very high quality. Perfectly stored in their plastic bags. Normal position of racks is closed, but we have propped them open for some photos. Racks are shown both upside down and right side up in photos. No instructions included, and it is a bit of a jigsaw puzzel to assemble, but hopefully nothing that scooter aficionados cannot figure out. From one of the original aftermarket Vespa and Lambretta scooter accessory manufacturers of the 1950's, still producing today. Made in Italy, and we buy them at the factory in Italy.
