Description: ORIGINAL VINTAGE WINCHESTER ADVERTISING POSTER "THE DOGS" ARTIST: H.R. POERE 1920's My 89 year-old father is thinning down his art collection! This vintage original Winchester print, titled "The Dogs" is mounted and framed in vintage wood frame with antique glass. The original Winchester advertising poster has had the Winchester Shell advertisement removed, and the bottom portion of the poster mounted and framed. "The Dogs" original painting was by H.R. Poere and his painting was immortalized when Winchester choose it for its adverting. Poster is in VERY GOOD condition and it appears to be free from rips or tears. Unfortunately this item is difficult to photograph due to the glare and reflection on the vintage glass. The dark wood antique frame has expected minor scrapes and scratches, but frame is sturdy and free from any serious issues. The antique glass is wavy and has a few bubbles. I wish you could see the beauty of this vintage glass. The wood frame measures 35 inches high and 43 1/2 inches long/wide. The poster itself measures 26 inches high and 35 1/2 inches long/wide.
