Description: Perfect for a unique gift or a new addition to your own collection. This vintage ashtray is stamped Occupied Japan, which dates it to sometime between 1945 and 1952. It still appears to be in acceptable condition, in my opinion. However, it is over 70 years old and does show some normal signs of minor wear due to age and use over the years. Before you buy, you should know that I have not attempted to clean or shine up the metal in any way. So there may also be a chance of patina or tarnish on the surface. With that in mind, this item is not in my perfect condition and is Sold As Is. The color is silver, but the metal is untested, and I don't know if it's silver plated. I would be happy to provide any additional details you may need upon request.
