Description: Vintage/Antique Art Deco Neoclassical Artistic Lamp Mfg Co NYC Green Onyx Column Lamp Neoclassical Frieze Scene Approximately 23.5" tall to the top of the shade/socket holder. Weighs approximately 6 lbs before packing. With the correct diffuser glass and shade added, it should sit at about 28"-32" tall. Gorgeous antique or near antique polished green onyx column lamp. Made by the Artistic Lamp Manufacturing Company in New York City as shown on the base, likely in the 1920s or 1930s. The stone has many natural occlusions and fractures with natural veins running throughout. Leviton socket/knob in the shade/socket holder. All 3 set screws are included. The diffuser glass is not but replacements are easily found. The lamp does work as shown. The stone does show a few bruises unfortunately - a larger one on the column, and a small one on the edge of the base. There's also a small chip on one corner of the base but it's difficult to see and insignificant. The neoclassical Roman or Greek frieze scene collar appears to have been painted at some point, as has the upper metal portions, or perhaps this is original. The base has four feet. I've not attempted to clean or polish this lamp in any way - I'll leave this to the buyer's discretion. In remarkable and wonderful condition otherwise. Diffuser glass and shade not included. Light bulb not included. Experienced international lamp shipper. Will be extremely well packed and insured if necessary. I've calculated US shipping using Pirate Ship rates.
