I have been growing this for 10 yrs now, and it has never reached more than 6" in height, but I also grow them in full sun. So where you plant them determines the height, and how quickly they turn green after their initial display of pure white. It's still a welcoming sight in the the springtime. While they are supposed to be a strictly shade plant, I also grow them in full sun. They just seem to stay white (cream) longer if grown in full shade. The leaves are beautiful and delicate. After they turn green? They are not of much interest, but they do multiply rapidly for their grand show in the next spring. This listing is for 2 bareroot White Feather Hosta. Please be prepared to plant them immediately upon arrival, to give them the best opportunity to thrive. You can either plant them directly in the ground, or into containers. When I plant into containers, I shelter them in the garage for the winter. These are shipped bare root (washed) so as not to tranplant any regional pests into your area.
