Description: This is a beautiful bayonet. It has the factory blade, a pointy tip, and lots of great markings. Very clean overall. The blade has the vast majority of the factory metal color finish with no patina that I can find. The only bluing is where the stampings are and that is mostly intact. The wood handle is secure with very little surface wear. No cracks. The pommel looks great with some minor marks. The push button works as expected. Stamped: 1907 1 ‘17 SANDERSON on one side and several British stampings on the other and one on the pommel. The guard looks very good and has mostly a metal color. The scabbard is in great condition with very minor finish wear. No damage. Nice a firm. The metal hardware is completely intact. There appears to be a faint marking that I am not successful in capturing with a camera. Fully functional. This is a beautiful set.
