Description: WWII Era Seabees Wooden Plaque US Army 5th Air Force Named Southwest Pacific. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Ground Advantage. A vintage World War II era Seabees emblem on a wooden plaque, named for Raymond K Williams (1927 - 2024) who served in the 5th Air force in the Pacific Theater Japan and later in the Occupation Forces 1945 - 1947. Ray was honorably discharged after reaching the rank of Sergeant and received the Army of Occupation, Japan WWII Victory, Asian-Pacific Campaign, American Campaign and Good Conduct Medals. The wooden plaque is 7 3/4" long, 6 3/4" wide and 5/8" thick. The metallic Seabees emblem in the center has a diameter of 3 1/2". A scarce collector's item!
